Do your eyes feel dry at the end of the day?
Michelle Zalaznick, OD

You may have a condition called Dry Eye Disease.
Certain factors can increase the risk for Dry Eye Disease. These include diabetes, use of certain medications like antihistamines and antidepressants, age, gender and computer use. Women are more likely to experience dry eyes than men. Computer use can lead to dry eyes because most people tend not to blink as much when they are concentrating on their computer screen.Signs of dry eye include redness, burning and fluctuations in vision.  The treatments for this condition include artificial tears, nutritional  supplements like fish oil and flax seed and Restasis drops.
